Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City has recently announced a significant investment of $50 million this year to further improve its facilities, including room and suite renovations, casino floor expansion, and the addition of new restaurants. This ongoing project is part of a larger effort by the resort to enhance its offerings and maintain its competitiveness in the market.
Enhancing Hospitality Experience
The planned capital investments for 2025 will focus on enhancing the overall hospitality experience for guests. In addition to room renovations and new dining options, the resort will also pay close attention to its casino floor, a key revenue driver for the company.
Bill Callahan, the general manager of Ocean Casino Resort, expressed his excitement about the upcoming changes, stating, “We are introducing five highly anticipated dining concepts that our customers have been asking for. This year also marks an exciting milestone as we complete the entire hotel with fully renovated guest rooms and suites.”
Renovation Plans
The $50 million investment will primarily go towards the creation of new Ocean Blu Rooms & Suites, valued at $25 million. This renovation project will not only encompass the 559 rooms and suites currently under renovation but also include a complete makeover of all 1,860 guest rooms at the property.
Over the past few years, Ocean Casino Resort has been gradually unveiling its renovated rooms, with new additions in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Additionally, the resort is set to open two new restaurants in collaboration with renowned restaurateur Stephen Starr.
Expanding Casino Offerings
Aside from room renovations and dining options, Ocean Casino Resort will also introduce an expanded Asian Gaming space, doubling in size from 4,000 square feet to 8,000 square feet. The new gaming area will feature 32 tables offering popular games like Mini Baccarat and Pai Gow Poker, catering to the preferences of both local and international guests.
